Jeffrey Allegretti, President

Jeffrey Allegretti has over thirty years of progressively responsible experience as a planner, manager, and executive of neighborhood redevelopment and building services enterprises.  He has managed the design and construction of tax credit- and private equity-financed housing and mixed-use development projects valued at more than $2.0 billion. Mr. Allegretti has also designed and managed large-scale public programs in energy conservation, home repair, and housing rehabilitation.  In 1997, Mr. Allegretti founded Innova Service Corporation and has since directed the company’s neighborhood redevelopment, project management and building services enterprises, while serving as its principal consultant for building failure investigations.

Mr. Allegretti was formerly the head of the City of Philadelphia's Home Improvement programs where he reorganized and merged several City housing programs to create a single comprehensive program of energy retrofits, home repair and rehabilitation that served over 10,000 households each year.  Mr. Allegretti developed a telephone hotline and computerized work order system that expedited home repair services to the city's low-income homeowners and he mandated the use of combustion analyzers, blower doors and infrared imaging equipment to pinpoint building failures and optimize repairs.

Mr. Allegretti also held the position of General Manager of a North Philadelphia based non-profit corporation that trained and employed local residents in the heating, energy conservation, and home repair trades. He is a long term active member of his neighborhood civic association, and for more than a decade was volunteer facilities manager for his parish church and an officer and board director of the Roxborough Development Corporation, a community development organization in Philadelphia.

Mr. Allegretti holds a B.A. in political science from Temple University and has completed advanced course work in public administration at Temple.  In 2006, Mr. Allegretti earned a Master of Liberal Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, with an emphasis in comparative literature and religious studies, and is the author of a book-length study on the theoretical connections between Christian mysticism and psychoanalysis in the context of Shakespeare's Hamlet.
