Jeffrey Allegretti, President

Jeffrey Allegretti has nearly forty years of progressively responsible experience as a planner, manager, and executive of neighborhood redevelopment and building services enterprises. He has managed the design and construction of tax credit- and private equity-financed housing and mixed-use development projects valued at more than $2.0 billion, and has planned and overseen large-scale public programs in energy conservation, home repair, and housing rehabilitation. Jeff founded Innova Services Corporation in 1997 and has since directed the company's neighborhood redevelopment, project management, green building and building advisor enterprises, while serving as its principal consultant for building failure investigations.

Jeff was formerly the head of the City of Philadelphia's Home Improvement programs where he reorganized and merged several City housing programs to create a single comprehensive program of energy retrofits, home repair and rehabilitation that served over 10,000 households each year. Jeff developed a telephone hotline and computerized work order system that expedited home repair services to the city's low-income homeowners and he pioneered the use of combustion analyzers, blower doors and infrared imaging equipment to pinpoint building failures and optimize repairs. Jeff also held the position of General Manager of a North Philadelphia based non-profit corporation that trained and employed local residents in the heating, energy conservation, and home repair trades. He is a long term active member of his neighborhood civic association and was, for more than a decade, the volunteer facilities manager for his historic parish church.

Jeff holds a B.A. in political science from Temple University, has completed advanced course work in public administration at Temple, and, in 2006, Jeff earned a Master of Liberal Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, with an emphasis in comparative literature and religious studies. He is the author of a book-length study on the theoretical connections between Christian mysticism and psychoanalysis in the context of Shakespeare's Hamlet.
