Kimiko Doherty

Kimiko serves as Project Manager for Innova's Project Management division. For eight years prior to joining Innova, Kimiko was Senior Project Manager at the Office for Community Development of Catholic Human Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, where she was responsible for the planning and execution of several multifamily tax credit projects, including hiring and managing the development team of attorneys, architect, engineers, and the general contractor. In that role, Kimiko also served as the owner's hands-on Project Manager during the design and construction phases. Prior to her work with the Archdiocese, Kimiko was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras, where she conducted workshops on construction practices with local construction workers and trained neighborhood emergency committees on rural disaster mitigation. Beyond Kimiko's robust professional experience, she is mission-driven to rebuild neighborhoods, promote smart building practices, and create high quality dwellings for low income individuals and families.

Kimiko has a Masters in Urban Planning (MUP) from the University of Michigan, a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia, and is certified as a LEED BD+C. Kimiko's professional experience is rounded out with a long list of volunteer experiences including supporting immigrants, refugees, and their families, and promoting the Peace Corps' legacy of volunteerism. Kimiko is also an active member of the Community Garden in her South Philadelphia neighborhood.
